Profile

Settings → Profile holds everything that belongs to you personally rather than to the workspace. Every member can edit their own profile, whatever their role.

  1. Upload a photo by dropping it on Upload avatar (JPG, PNG, WebP or HEIC, up to 8 MB). Click Remove under the photo to clear it.
  2. Fill in Full name (required) and Title. Your title is shown to buyers in the Buyer Space, for example “Account Executive · Acme Sales Corp”.
  3. Add a Phone number if you like. It’s a contact detail only.
  4. Click Save changes.

Your Email can’t be changed here. Ask your workspace Admin if it needs to change.

Connect the calendar your buyers book into. The options are Google Calendar, Outlook Calendar, Calendly and Cal.com. Click Connect on a tile and follow the sign-in prompt.

Until you connect one, the buyer’s “Schedule a session” widget asks them to reply with a time instead of offering real slots. See Calendar and scheduling for details, including importing meetings with your buyers from Google Calendar.

Team chat is where your Shadow messages you about approvals and alerts.

  • Slack — once an Admin has connected Slack for the workspace, click Link my Slack. Shadows finds you by your sign-in email. When linked, Send me a welcome message confirms that messages reach you.
  • Microsoft Teams — if your workspace uses Teams, open Teams and add the Shadows app to connect.

WhatsApp lets you receive your own alerts on your phone. Turn on Send me alerts on WhatsApp, confirm your number, and follow the prompt to finish connecting. Turn the switch off to disconnect.

Choose which alerts go to which app in Notifications. For more on these channels, see Slack, Teams and WhatsApp.

Send-as email controls how emails your Shadow drafts for you appear to buyers.

  • Send-as name — the name buyers see in the From field. It defaults to your full name.
  • Reply-to — buyer replies always come back to your Shadow, so nothing is missed. Add an address here if you also want a copy in your own inbox. Leave it blank to keep replies in Shadows only.

A Buyers will see preview shows the resulting From and Reply-To lines. Click Save changes.

Enter your Current password and a New password of at least 12 characters, then click Change password. If you sign in with Google, there’s no password to change.

Add a second step to your sign-in:

  • Authenticator app — click Set up authenticator app, scan the QR code, and enter the 6-digit code it shows.
  • WhatsApp code — where available, receive your sign-in code on WhatsApp instead.

When you turn two-factor on, Shadows shows a set of recovery codes. Each one lets you sign in once if you lose your phone. Copy them somewhere safe, such as a password manager, and tick I’ve saved these codes. Use Regenerate recovery codes to issue a new set; the old set stops working at once.
