Reviewing the proposal
The proposal lives in your Deal Room as a Quote card, usually in a later stage of the deal. The Your offer card near the top of the room shows the headline price and links down to the full breakdown (See the breakdown).
Reading the quote
Section titled “Reading the quote”The quote shows:
- Line items — what you’re buying, grouped where it makes sense, with subtotals.
- What is included — the details behind each item.
- Discounts — any discount that applies, with the reason (for example a discount for paying upfront).
- Taxes — whether tax is included. Tax shown is an estimate and may be adjusted on the final invoice.
- Total and the Payment schedule, if payments are split into milestones.
- Validity — how long the offer stands (Valid through a date, or how many days are left).
- A note from your rep, if your account executive added one.
Comparing options
Section titled “Comparing options”If the seller offers a choice, you can switch between them and the price updates on the spot:
- Term — for example a 1-, 2- or 3-year commitment, each showing how much you’d save.
- Payment method — such as card, bank transfer, or a cloud marketplace private offer.
Payment terms set by the seller are shown with a lock. If you need different terms, ask your account executive.
Billing details
Section titled “Billing details”Before you sign, you may be asked for the details that go on the invoice: legal entity name, billing email, billing address, VAT or tax ID, and an optional PO number. Click Save billing details when you’re done.
Changing your VAT number or address can change the tax on the quote. If it does, the seller re-checks the pricing before you can sign.
Documents
Section titled “Documents”Proposal documents, agreements and other files appear under Documents on the quote, or in their own cards elsewhere in the room. Click View to open a file in your browser, or Download to save it.
Some documents are set up for back-and-forth review. On those you can:
- Comment on the current version.
- Upload version — send back your own edited copy, with a short note on What changed?
Earlier versions are always kept, so you can see how a document evolved.
Asking for changes
Section titled “Asking for changes”- Ask about this quote — type a question about a different term, a bundled discount or an installment plan, then send it. Your account executive follows up with you in the room.
- Name your price — if the seller has added this card, propose the price and terms you’d want. It’s sent to the account team as a request; the quote itself doesn’t change until they respond.
- Upload a competing offer — if the seller has added this card, share a competitor’s quote (or just type in the vendor, price and terms) so the seller can take it seriously.
- Message your account executive — see Messages.
The AI Concierge can answer questions about the published quote, but it can’t change prices or offer discounts — it passes those requests to your account executive.
If the offer has expired
Section titled “If the offer has expired”An expired quote can’t be signed. Click Ask for a refreshed quote and the current pricing will be re-issued in the room.
When you’re happy with the proposal, see Accepting and signing.
