Shadow Co-Pilot
The Shadow Co-Pilot is a chat with your Shadow, available on every page of Shadows. Ask it where a deal stands, what changed, or what to do next, and it answers from the deal’s real data, showing the evidence it used. It can also prepare changes for you: a note, a task, a meeting log, a message draft, or a pricing change.
Open the Co-Pilot
Section titled “Open the Co-Pilot”Click Ask Shadow in the bottom-right corner of the screen. A number on the button means unread replies are waiting.
On a deal page, the Co-Pilot is automatically about that deal. The box reads Ask about this deal…, and suggestions include What is the status of this deal?, What are the risks?, and What should I do next?. Anywhere else, it answers about your deals and pipeline as a whole.
Click What can you do here? to see everything it can help with:
- Understand a deal: where you stand, what changed this week, why it’s flagged, who is missing from the room
- Prepare: a brief before a call, a message draft, a business case, account research
- Do: update deal fields, book a meeting, prepare a price change, attach a file to the room, nudge a stakeholder, create a new deal
- Watch: tell you if a deal goes quiet, change your Morning Ledger, show what needs you today
You can type or use the microphone to dictate.
When the Shadow acts, and when it asks first
Section titled “When the Shadow acts, and when it asks first”The Shadow splits changes into two kinds.
Done right away when you ask: internal changes that only your team sees, such as adding a note or task, updating a contact or company, logging a stakeholder’s role, renaming the deal, or changing your pricing draft. If you only mention a fact that implies a change (“Doron’s company is now El Al”), it asks before saving it.
Prepared as a card for you to confirm: anything that reaches a buyer, changes the deal’s commercial record, or hands the deal to someone else. That includes:
- sending a message or publishing the quote
- the deal amount, currency, products, stage, close date, or forecast
- the deal owner
- logging a booked meeting
A card shows exactly what will happen. Its main button says what it does, for example Create the deal or Log the meeting. Click Not now to skip it.
Message drafts
Section titled “Message drafts”When the Co-Pilot drafts a buyer message, the card offers Edit in chat, which opens the deal’s Contact center with the draft loaded so you can review and send it there. If the Shadow didn’t have enough to write the message, the card says so and offers Finish it in the chat. See Approving the Shadow’s drafts.
Pricing changes
Section titled “Pricing changes”A pricing change the Co-Pilot prepares goes into your Pricing Draft. Use Review the full draft in Pricing to check it. The buyer sees nothing until you publish. See Pricing and quotes.
Suggested next step
Section titled “Suggested next step”A substantive answer usually ends with one recommended next action. Accept it to have the Shadow prepare it, or dismiss it.
Which deals it can see
Section titled “Which deals it can see”The Co-Pilot sees exactly the deals you can see:
- Admins and Managers can ask about any deal in the workspace.
- Sales Reps and Viewers can ask about the deals they own.
Viewers can ask questions but can’t make changes.
Conversation history
Section titled “Conversation history”Your conversation is kept, and scrolling up loads earlier messages. To start fresh, click Clear conversation. The Shadow won’t remember earlier messages in this chat, and this can’t be undone.
