Revenue metrics
Revenue metrics is the management dashboard. It shows how your pipeline is performing against your goals, which deals are at risk and why, and what the Shadow has been doing.
To open it, click Revenue metrics under Business Insights in the sidebar, or click the Shadows logo.
What you see depends on your role
Section titled “What you see depends on your role”The numbers are scoped to the deals you’re responsible for:
| Role | Deals counted | Tabs |
|---|---|---|
| Sales Rep | Your own deals. The Seller filter is locked to “You”. | KPIs, Insights |
| Manager | The deals of the teams you manage, plus your own. The Manager filter is locked to “Your line”. | KPIs, Insights |
| Admin | Every deal in the workspace. | KPIs, Insights, Platform ROI, Baselines |
A locked filter shows a padlock instead of a menu, so you can always see why your numbers differ from someone else’s.
Choose a time range and filters
Section titled “Choose a time range and filters”- Use the range switch in the top-right corner to pick 30d, 60d, 90d, 180d, 360d, or YTD.
- Use the filter row under the tabs to narrow every tab by Deal flow, Deal stage, Region, Country, Customer size, Manager, Seller, or Product. Click Clear filters to reset them.
KPIs tab
Section titled “KPIs tab”Goals vs actual
Section titled “Goals vs actual”Cards compare your results with the goals set in your company settings:
- Closed-won revenue
- Deals won
- Win rate
- Cycle time
- Avg discount
- Gross margin
- Lost ARR
Hover over a card to see exactly how it’s calculated. For example, win rate counts the deals won out of the deals that were sent a Buyer Space link and closed in the range.
Click a card to open the numbers behind it. From there you can:
- Jump to the matching deals in the Deals list.
- Send instructions to your AEs, with an optional note (Managers and Admins only).
- Open your company goals to change the target (Managers and Admins only).
If a card says there’s no goal, an Admin can set one under Settings → Company.
Revenue at risk
Section titled “Revenue at risk”Groups open deals by the risk pattern they share. Click a pattern to see the deals behind it and open any of them.
Who is producing
Section titled “Who is producing”A table of deal owners ranked by closed-won revenue. It shows each owner’s deals, open, lost, and won value, plus win rate, average deal cycle, discount, margin, and reply time. Click a person to see their deals.
Insights tab
Section titled “Insights tab”The Insights tab explains what’s happening across your deals and suggests what to do about it.
- What to do first: a prioritized queue of findings, such as deals going quiet or a pattern of losses. Each finding shows what’s at stake, the evidence, and next steps. Any action it proposes waits for your approval: “Nothing changes until you approve it.” Managers and Admins can mark findings resolved.
- Portal intelligence: what buyers do inside the Deal Room, ranked by how well each action predicts the outcome.
- Why deals were lost: the structured loss reasons captured when deals were closed lost.
- Competitors: competitors named in your deals, how often, and your win rate against each.
- Questions the Playbook can’t answer: questions buyers asked in the Deal Room, across two or more rooms, that had no stored answer. Each one went to a person. Add an answer and the Shadow can answer it next time.
- Room engagement: rooms opened, reviewers per room, stages approved, room rating, and negative sentiment across your published Deal Rooms.
- Recommended actions: AI-prioritized suggestions. Click one to have it drafted for your review.
Platform ROI tab (Admins)
Section titled “Platform ROI tab (Admins)”Shows what Shadows is returning against what it costs:
- Realized closed-won revenue.
- An estimate of pipeline the Shadow helped rescue.
- Margin and discount compared with before Shadows.
Platform KPIs compares results with one baseline at a time, either Your starting point or Typical company. These are:
- Reduced discounts
- Higher margin
- Accelerated deals
- Saved from ghosting
- SQL to closed won
- AE time saved
Click any figure to see how it’s counted and what’s left out.
Shadow statistics shows what the Shadow did in the range, as counts only. It includes how buyers moved through Buyer Spaces, gate by gate.
Baselines tab (Admins)
Section titled “Baselines tab (Admins)”The ROI comparisons need a starting point. On Baselines, record where the company was before Shadows: deal cycle, win rate, discount, margin, and so on.
Click Generate market figures to get an AI estimate of what comparable companies typically see. It’s an estimate from public information, not a measured industry median.
Under Cost inputs, enter figures such as AE hours and the fully loaded annual AE cost. These turn time saved into money saved.
Baselines apply to the whole company, not to the page filters.
Export
Section titled “Export”-
Export (next to the range switch) downloads Figures (CSV), with every figure on the page, or Deals behind them (CSV). Admins also get a Savings report (Excel).
-
Export → A review as a deck… builds a slide deck for a recurring review. You can download it or email it. The reviews available depend on your role:
- Monthly review
- Team meeting
- Quarterly review (QBR) (Managers and Admins)
- Yearly review (Managers and Admins)
- Investor review (Admins)
Choose which slides to include before you export.
-
Export report downloads a PowerPoint built from your Leadership template or Investor template. Under Branding templates, you can upload your own template so the deck matches your brand.
Exports always use the range and filters you have selected.
