Products

Settings → Products is your catalogue. Each product carries its own identity, ideal customer profile, assets, competitive intel, buyer FAQ, pricing and cross-sell links. Your Shadow only quotes, cites or attaches what you’ve given it here, so the more complete a product is, the better its drafts and answers.

Who can use it: everyone can open Products and read the catalogue. Only an Admin can create, edit or price products. The per-rep Team goals for this product section is shown to Admins and Managers only.

  1. Click New product.
  2. Type a Product name (it’s what buyers see on quotes and in the Buyer Space) and confirm.
  3. The product opens in the builder. Work through its tabs, described below.

From the library you can also Open, Duplicate or Remove a product using the row menu. Your default product is tagged DEFAULT. Inside the builder, use the arrows next to the product name to move between products.

Paste the Product website and click Read the site. Shadows finds the products you sell, the domain and the subscription model, and drafts the name and description. Everything stays editable.

Then set the Product name, Product type, Short description and Product owner. The owner is the team member accountable for the product; cross-sell opportunities for it are routed to them.

Who this product is for, which isn’t always who the company is for. Tick as many Target buyers, Segments, Regions and Verticals as apply.

Everything your Shadow can quote, cite or attach for this product: documents, case studies and links. Click Upload files or let Shadows read the site for case studies. For each asset, choose its Topic (which Buyer Space widget it can appear in) and Who can use it: visible to buyers in their Buyer Space, available for the Shadow to cite, or both.

  • Retrieved from the site — Key features and Value propositions, read from the site or added by hand.
  • Competition — what to say when a buyer names someone else. Add the competitors buyers bring up, with their talking points. Use the eye toggle to stop the Shadow using a competitor without deleting it.

The buyer Q&A for this product. Review the AI-drafted answers, fill the gaps, and generate questions matched to your product’s domain. Your Shadow only quotes an answer you’ve approved. Hide questions that aren’t relevant to your business.

The product’s price book and promotions. See Price books and promotions.

Link this product to others in your catalogue that are natural to sell alongside it. For each link, set a trigger stage per deal flow or keywords that raise a recommendation automatically, and choose whether the link is shown in the Buyer Space. Click Save cross-sell links.

At the bottom of the Identity tab, Admins and Managers see each rep’s ARR goal on the product, and Admins set them. Product goals add up to the company’s New ARR target on Company → Revenue goals.
