Payment & Pricing
Settings → Payment & Pricing holds the commercial policy shared by every product: how buyers can pay, on what terms, and which of your legal entities they’re billed by. Product prices themselves live on each product; see Price books and promotions.
Who can use it: everyone can open the page.
- Payment method card — only an Admin can edit it.
- Billing & tax entities card — Admins and Managers can add and edit entities. Turning the tax estimator on or off is Admin-only. Bank details are visible to Admins and Managers only.
Payment method
Section titled “Payment method”Tick the options you accept. In each group, use Set default to choose the one applied to new quotes.
- Accepted payment methods — Stripe (card and wallets), Credit card, Bank transfer / wire, and Marketplace private offer.
- Installment options — Monthly, Quarterly, Yearly and Multi-year. Multi-year commits are quoted with the yearly amount and the total contract value side by side.
- Payment terms — how long the buyer has to pay once invoiced, from Due on receipt to Net 60. The default is set on every new quote and shown to the buyer at checkout.
- Digital marketplace listings — AWS Marketplace, Google Cloud Marketplace, Microsoft Azure Marketplace and Oracle Cloud Marketplace. Buyers with committed cloud spend can transact through the marketplace instead of raising new budget.
Discount rules
Section titled “Discount rules”A grid of payment method × term lets you set a discount for each combination, for example a small discount for paying 1-year upfront by wire.
Billing & tax entities
Section titled “Billing & tax entities”Add one entity for each legal company you sell from. Each quote is issued by one entity, which sets its currency and tax details.
- Click Add entity.
- Fill in the Legal name, Tax / VAT ID, Default currency, Billing country and State / province.
- Under Registered to collect in, add each country (and state) where you’re registered to collect tax, with the scheme (VAT, GST or Sales tax) and your registration number. Quotes into a place you’re not registered in still get a tax rate, flagged with a caveat.
- Fill in Invoicing details: registration number, billing email and billing address.
- Optionally add Bank details (beneficiary, bank, account number, IBAN, SWIFT/BIC). They’re printed on the quote PDF, and left off when empty.
Use Set as default to choose the entity new quotes use, and Archive to retire one.
Tax estimator
Section titled “Tax estimator”Turn on Enable the tax estimator on quotes to let sellers add an estimated VAT, GST or sales-tax figure to a quote. Estimates come from a fixed rate table, never from AI, and the seller must review and accept each one before it appears on the offer.
