The Buyer Space tab

The Buyer Space tab is where you watch the deal’s Deal Room from the seller side: whether it’s live, who’s in it, how far the buyer journey has got, and what each stakeholder has looked at. To change what’s in the room, use Configure. See Configure a Deal Room.

If the deal doesn’t have a Deal Room yet, the tab says so. A room is created automatically the first time it’s opened or previewed.

The Buyer Space button in the deal header is the quickest way in. Click it to open the room in a new tab, or open its menu:

  • Preview: see the room as a buyer would, without affecting the deal. See Preview a room.
  • Configure: edit the room’s widgets and content.
  • Share link: email a stakeholder their own link, or copy it. See Stakeholders.
  • Go live or Turn off: publish the room to buyers, or take it offline.

Viewers and anyone who can’t change the deal only get Preview.

The top card summarizes the room:

FieldWhat it tells you
StatusLive or Off. Flip the switch to go live or turn the room off
VerificationRequired means buyers enter a one-time code from their email to get in. Off means anyone with the link can enter
ParticipantsHow many stakeholders are invited, and how many are active
JourneyHow many journey steps are complete
Last visitWhen a buyer last opened the room
Open requestsBuyer requests still open, and how many are waiting on your side
Most viewedThe section buyers spent the most time on

When you switch the room on, you’re asked to confirm with Go live?. Going live gives the buyer access and emails the primary buyer. If some sections of the room have no content yet, Shadows lists them first. Those sections stay hidden from the buyer, so you can Launch anyway and fill them in later, or Edit the room first.

Turning verification off asks you to confirm, because anyone with the room link could then enter with no code, even if the link was forwarded or leaked. You can turn it back on at any time.

Shared buyer journey shows each stage and sub-stage of the deal’s flow with its status: Complete, In progress, Waiting, Blocked, or Not started. For a step waiting on a buyer, Nudge emails the person who needs to act. Configure journey opens the room’s configuration.

The journey comes from the deal’s deal flow. If no flow applies to the deal, the tab tells you so. See Deal flows.

The engagement matrix has one row per stakeholder and one column per sub-stage. Darker cells mean more views, so you can see at a glance who is reading which part of the room. Until someone opens the room, it reads No room visits yet.

The roster lists everyone with access to the room, marking the Champion and anyone who has Finished their part. Click a stakeholder to edit their role, permission and access. See Stakeholders.

Room activity shows Recent visits across the room. Switch to Stakeholder activity to see the same per person. For the full chronological feed, use the Buyer Space filter on the Activity tab.

The Buyer Space pulse card on the Cockpit tab gives a smaller version of the summary (Active stakeholders, Visits · 7 days, Last active, Open requests) with Open Buyer Space → to jump here. The Buyer journey card shows the current stage and anything not yet approved.
